This song is quality, an absolute gem, and deserves to be heard by more people. But you can make up your own meaning to this song because it just has such an atmospheric, story-driven quality to it. At least, that’s the way I see it (or, rather, hear it). There’s a great story to it about overcoming the odds, being the best you can be and not letting anyone stop you. Instead, you’ll just think how awesome this song is. That’s not a bad thing by any means, I’m a fan of Randy Orton, but that’s kinda irrelevant here because my point is if you hear this song for the first time today, you won’t think of Randy Orton. Out comes Randy Orton and the Burn in My Light theme would burst through the titantron. So for that fact, the weekend begins with the first song of theirs that I heard, being Burn in My Light.įor me, whenever I hear this tune I’ll always think of the way I first heard it. They are an awesome band who I never would have heard of had I not been a WWE fan. I’m on one of those WWE flexes as I tend to go through, and on this occasion it is because today is the start of the Mercy Drive Weekend.
